The Angel Award is more than recognition.
It is rooted in a story.
Before it became a celebration on stage…
before it became an annual honor…
it was a promise.
A promise that resilience would be remembered.
That grace under pressure would be honored.
And that loss would be transformed into legacy.
Every April, as we raise awareness for head and neck cancers, we carry forward that promise — turning personal courage into public impact.
And at the heart of that promise is the woman whose life inspired it all.

The Angel Award is presented in honor of Sandra M. Bridges, whose life and strength continue to inspire the mission of Divine Angels Outreach Ministry. After her courageous battle with salivary cancer, we made a commitment: her story would not end with loss — it would fuel awareness, service, and global impact.
Through the Sandra M. Bridges Foundation initiative, we are committed to raising awareness for head and neck cancers each April and honoring women whose grace, resilience, and leadership leave a lasting mark on their communities.
Her legacy is not remembered.
It is carried forward.
